Small update from the Netherlands here!
Today we have set up the Legoworld event in Utrecht, the Netherlands. This event will start tomorrow and will end on Wednesday. Every day there are expected to be between 10.000 and 12.000 visitors.
I have set up my Hobbiton and Great Hall mocs (I have to take pictures and will upload them soon!).
In total there are about 80 afols, all from the Netherlands. We have also made some layouts together like City and Steampunk.
I will keep you all posted on the event and will upload some pictures so you can get an idea of how this is all going!

Great! I remember you talking about that (or Bas/Jebbo).

Congrats on making the event and getting involved as much as 80 AFOL's!
10000 to 12000 visitors each day?
I'm looking forward to see pictures from the event...

Thanks!

Yes Jebbo is also there and Bas will be visiting Sunday.
Indeed it is a lot of people. Last year the busiest day had 13000 people visiting. That was to much, so I think the limit is set at 12000 now.
This is of course an event mostly set up by Lego, so there is a lot of promotion. Also Disney XD (the Disney tv channel) is involved this year because of the new Star Wars series Rebels and the Lego sets that are made for this series.

Wow, I am really really glad for you. It sounds like a blast of an event. I think Denis Bosman was talking about going to Legoworld soon after LFW. I can't wait to see those pictures!
